My husband and I celebrated our 11th anniversary at Natures Nook. The cabin was fantastic. We really enjoyed being able to sit in the hot tub and enjoy the fire. This was the perfect place to get away and relax. The movie selection was great. Having four children, I can’t remember the last time we actually sat down together and watched a movie. Once we walked it, we never wanted to leave. It was such a relaxing enviorment. We can’t wait to have an excuse to return again very soon. Thanks to the Eckerts for such a great place to relax and all the attention to detail that they put into preparing for our stay. The personalized basket was really special!

Where to begin that doesn’t repeat what others have said… This being tough because the cabins are all what has been said and more.
2010 was an extremely tough year for us due to injuries and illness. We needed a getaway to recharge and start healing. The cabin we stayed at provided us with both. As soon as we entered the cabin we both felt a peacefulness come over us. We spent the entire time just relaxing and healing. I would like to say it was more of a spiritual healing than physical.
Regina and Dave have created a haven. I wouldn’t change a thing. We look forward to going back many times over the years to come.

We couldn’t have had a better and more relaxed time. Everything was wonderful from the moment we walked through the door. The soft music playing, the rose petals on the bed and the gift basket with a personal note just gave us such a special feeling. The fires in the chimnea and the hot tub were so relaxing. We will definately recommend Serenity to all of our friends and family. We can’t wait to come back again. 2/23/2011

Absolutely wonderful! My husband and I love the cabins. We had such a relaxing time and can not wait until this March for our 2nd wedding anniversary. Very clean, cozy and fun. Just right to keep the spark in your marriage. Thanks so much for giving us a piece of heaven on earth.

We have stayed in these cabins a few times before and after Dave and Regina bought them. Their extra special little things make us feel like it’s our home away from home! We have stayed at cabins in Hocking Hills and Tennessee and they do not compare to these! Dave and Regina, that is because you take pride in making sure everyone feels welcome. We are so glad we found these cabins so close to home. We feel like we can leave for the weekend and know we are still close if our 3 little ones need us. Can’t wait to stay again real soon, maybe it will snow again while we are there. Nature’s Nook is calling our name 12/9/2010

In the 5 years we have been married, this is the first time we have ever had a weekend alone together, and let me tell you, it was much needed and more amazing then my expectations! The cabin was so warm and cozy, it felt like a home instead of a strange place, and the deck with the sunrise was absolutely gorgeous! The mixture of the hot tub and cool Nov. air, was heavenly! ( I love the peep hole in the privacy fence! That was my favorite part! I sat one morning soaking and watching a woodpecker for about 20 min.) I can’t tell you enough how this has effected us, and I am truely thankful! We look forward to returning, hopefully making this our new tradition for our anniversary! I have to tell you, my husband was so touched by your poem in the scrap book about the boys and he wanted me to Thank them for all of their hard work helping out!
We would and will recommend this Cabin to anyone wanting a perfect getaway! 11-7-10

Our stay at Nature’s nook cabin was fantastic. We could not believe the amazing atmosphere when we arrived at the cabin. It was an amazing getaway that we really needed in the midst of a hectic school year. We had all kinds of ideas of what we wanted to see and do but just could not leave the cabin (except to get an AMAZING PRETZEL). It was the best money we ever spent and loved being in the hot tub with a fire going in the firepit. Dave and Regina really made our 2nd anniversary very special for us. We highly recommend the wonderful cabins and we look forward to coming back again real soon. In fact we are already making plans to return. Oct 27-Oct 29, 2010

What a fantastic, cozy cabin! We stayed in Nature’s Nook for 3 nights.I thought we might get bored,so I planned different hiking & sightseeing activities. But the cabin was so comfortable inside and outside with the deck and the hot tub, we only left the cabin once, to get groceries. We cooked our meals together on the grill, read books on the deck, relaxed in the hot tub, and watched movies while cuddling on the love seat. The owners are very thoughtful and easy to reach. They left us a welcome basket to find upon our arrival and books of activities and maps of the area. We highly recommend Serenity Log Cabins! And we will return again for another get-away. Thanks for a wonderful place to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary!

What a wonderful little cabin!!! Not only was it CLEAN but when we arrived we were greeted with soft music playing, a “fire” flickering and a basket of goodies on our bed. Would highly recommend this cabin to any couple needing to get away for a weekend of romance and relaxation! Big thanks to the Eckert’s for making our anniversary so very memorable! What a blessing it was to find this place! =)

I am not exactly sure where to start. This was the most amazing getaway that my husband and I have ever had. This getaway is the perfect way to renew and revitalize. The welcoming touches are surpassed by no other. Nature’s Nook is a wonderful little cabin with a lot of amenities. The back deck facing the woods in the rising sun was the perfect place to have a cup of coffee and listen to the birds singing. The hot tub was phenomenal. The ambience that was left for us to enter was beyond compare and has set a high bar for us in romantic getaways. I don’t think that we will ever be able to be as happy anywhere else. We would recommend this little getaway to anyone. The cleanliness and freshness of the cabin was like it was brand new. Dave and Regina are very gracious hosts. Kudos to you both and thank you for a very lovely weekend. Michael and I left feeling rested, renewed and revitalized.
